The article examines the pressing issue of creating a health‑preserving environment in the system of secondary vocational education (SVE) from the perspective of the influence of social and cultural factors. The aim of the study is to identify and systematize the key social (income level, family traditions) and cultural (value orientations, media influence) determinants that shape students’ attitudes towards health in the SVE system. The methodological basis of the work consists of systemic and sociocultural approaches, as well as survey and content analysis methods. The results show that a low level of health culture in families, students, and the prioritization of immediate hedonistic values over long‑term ones reduce the effectiveness of traditional preventive measures. The author demonstrates that successfully designing a health‑preserving environment in a college requires not only infrastructure changes but also the transformation of social practices and the introduction of interactive forms of educational work that take into account youth subcultures. Based on the conclusions, a survey is proposed that measures not so much medical indicators as habits, values, environmental pressure, and cultural norms. The questionnaire structure is divided into certain semantic blocks.
